H&M has just launched a brand new design that's set out to solve that problem, namely the Popover rain jacket with StormMove™. The poncho has an oversized fit with a hood, ensuring your outfit and hair stay dry. It's also made from a functional fabric designed to protect you from the wind and rain while remaining 'breathable'. Priced at £119.99, it's certainly an investment, but the brand promise this fold away poncho will become your go-to 'festival essential'. Elsewhere, cheaper alternatives include Amazon's Festival Waterproof Adult Reusable Poncho, £15.99, while Next offers a slightly more stylish Gingham Overhead Rain Jacket, £39, although this one finishes at the waist. For example, the hood has a visor feature to keep the drizzle off your face, while the adjustable drawstrings allows you to customise the fit. When the rain finally goes away, the jacket packs into one of the zipped front pockets, allowing for easy storage. While the new release is yet to gain any customer reviews, it's expected to be a hit with festival goers, hikers, and campers alike. It works well, isn't sweaty, and you can just about manage drinking a pint while enveloped in it. Dries quickly enough and seems durable." While a second added: "Was expecting this to be merely showerproof, but bought three for the family to attend an outdoor gig at Cardiff Castle and they kept everything beneath them completely dry despite the torrential downpour." However, this customer had a different experience, finding it wasn't waterproof enough. They said: "I wore this for the first time on Tuesday morning when it was raining. It was going to be used more as a back up when out dog walking if it rained id have something to wear.
