What if your dream was finally realized, and instead of celebration, you found yourself with sleepless nights filled with anxiety? That's the reality for one unnamed Bollywood star, who’s feeling the heat from the remarkable success of Ahaan Panday's debut film, Saiyaara.

Since its release on July 18, Saiyaara has taken the box office by storm, raking in over Rs 500 crore and quickly becoming one of the year's biggest blockbusters. It’s a tale of ambition and romance that has resonated deeply with audiences, but it seems this success has also triggered a wave of insecurity among some established actors in the industry. Veteran film journalist Komal Nahta recently stirred the pot by suggesting that Ahaan's early triumph has left four Bollywood stars feeling quite uneasy.

In a candid interview on YouTube with Faridoon Shahryar, Nahta elaborated on his previous comments, revealing that one particular 40-year-old actor is experiencing a crisis of confidence due to Ahaan's rising fame. “I didn’t mention any names to spare them from embarrassment,” he explained. “But let me tell you, every word I reported about this actor spending sleepless nights, constantly on his phone to verify box office figures, is 100% true. The only thing I changed was the number of films he's done, just to avoid further embarrassment.”

Nahta recounted an eye-opening moment he encountered at a party thrown by Bhushan Kumar. When he informed an established star about the blockbuster status of Saiyaara, the veteran actor abruptly got up and left, clearly rattled by the news. “This isn't just a joke,” Nahta emphasized. “It illustrates the immense pressure in this industry. Even seasoned stars can feel insecure when faced with a newcomer’s success. They need to remember their own roots – they were once newcomers too!”

Since its release, Saiyaara has captured hearts, portraying the story of Krish Kapoor, an aspiring singer, and Vaani Batra, a budding journalist who navigate the trials of love and ambition. The film's captivating soundtrack and emotional depth have resonated with viewers, propelling it to phenomenal heights.

As for the numbers, Saiyaara has amassed a staggering Rs 376 crore in India alone and another Rs 131 crore internationally, bringing its total to an impressive Rs 507 crore. It’s a remarkable feat for a love story, securing its place in the annals of Indian cinema history.
