When Jennifer returned aboard her boat, she delicately extracted the note using a small tool, careful to preserve its fragile state. The moment Michele laid eyes on the note, she recognized her father’s handwriting, a nostalgic connection to a man she had never known, as he penned the letter nearly two decades before she was born.

While Jennifer initially planned to return the bottle and note to Michele, she was met with a heartfelt request. Michele asked Jennifer to keep the artifact, wanting it to remain as a cherished memory. Jennifer honored this sentiment by framing both the bottle and the note in a shadowbox, adding a photo of George Morrow at that age.
